And so y'all have created his account online thats great. All you lot need do at present is download the profile to your console. Now the profile you are currently trying to upgrade to Live would need a new e-mail if yous were to connect information technology but you lot've already created a new child account on Xbox.com so Get to download profile if its an xbox 360 or if it is Xbox I go to Add new and put in his email and pasword and the profile volition download to the panel.

Now this new i from the website will be new and seperate from the one on the panel and y'all will non be able to merge them. Only afterward you download the website on you'll have a safe Kid account managed by and adult for your son and thats really important for a kid when on xbox live.

Thanks for replying. That'southward how we got my 'parent' profile onto the Xbox but are trying to avoid it for his as he has allot of stuff (mainly Minecraft saved worlds) stored in his 'offline' contour that he would loose.

Ok well so it'due south the offline profile on the console you want then :-) the error message "Lamentable, Xbox alive signup isn't bachelor right now. Attempt again later." when does it pop up? When you click on sign upwards now or is it when you have filled out all the information When y'all submit information technology. Does it let you enter in the Email to attach to the account?

It'so right at the stop after his details and my 'parent' details have gone in. We have given up on the live.co.uk account so have created a gmail address and registered information technology as a Microsoft account.

Tried again - still the same result.

Also signed up to gold as the parent account (brash by Xbox live tech assistance), cleared the cache, checked connection to Xbox live -  even so the aforementioned result

This is happening to me too.  I've spend the last 2 days trying to become this stupid thing to piece of work.  Why it tin can't tell you Before you fill all your details in is across me.  Utterly ridiculous organization.

Short of deleting our accounts I can't see how I can become my kids onto Live.  And they've had this xbox for 2 years now, and deleting their accounts/profiles isn't an option.  Way too many save games/worlds.

I too am having this trouble. Takes me 15 min to put all the details in and and then declares that Xbox live sign upwards non available. My son got Xbox Live Gilded for 12 months for Christmas, but tin can't use it currently. Anyone managed to sign upwardly to Xbox alive since Christmas??

I've got exactly the same issue. Encountered it several months agone, got so frustrated I gave up (had to catch a plane) ... now I've spent a few hours trying again and chatting with Xbox back up (who only seemed able to assistance me showtime down the path to a brand new contour ... and didn't seem to believe me that I'd actually managed to convert an old "Offline" contour of my own into a full "Online" profile with a Live subscription that had full admission to all my one-time saves etc.)

Now our 360 is showing signs of being on the way out, and the merely style of getting my son'south saves etc. migrated to a 1 would be via the cloud, which is impossible because of this crazy fault.

Hello all,

I really need help hither -I have the very same upshot as the original poster Tufty0000.  My son has had an offline (Not Xbox Live) profile on the Xbox 360 for some fourth dimension.  He now wants that profile to bring together Xbox Live.  We accept created a Microsoft Account for him and added him to our Microsoft Family unit, I and so when thru the "Join Xbox Live" process on the Xbox from his profile using his new MS Account and my parental consent details.  At the cease of the long process "Sorry, Xbox Alive signup isn't available right now. Effort again later."  I and so tried creating a new profile for him (losing all his progress to appointment) and again later on following the "Join Xbox Live" procedure, using the same MS Business relationship and parental credentials, I get the same error.  I now have now way of creating an Xbox Alive Account for a child that is function of my Microsoft family fifty-fifty with my consent!!!  Did any observe a solution to this effect?
